Back in 2025, Lara returned from a photography conference and blasted through the door like a rocket, totally stoked and excited. "We're gonna start a podcast!" We went out the next day, purchased a mixing board, mics, cables, the whole nine yards. I spent a week setting everything up in our studio space, tuning the mics and the space for the best sound.
Here we are, June 2026, and... we're still going to start a podcast.
There's a million reasons why we haven't started, and I'm not going to list them all, but there's always something more pressing that needs to get done right away. And there's still a bunch of things that we don't know, like how and where to publish the podcasts. I always figured if we had something we'd figure out the details. But our biggest problem is we're having writer's block but the podcast version.
I've been thinking about how to kick us into gear when occurred to me that we're all about telling your stories through photography. Why not have our podcast be you coming in to tell your story? You can drop in, give Odin a belly rub, snag a soda out of our fabulous free soda fridge and we can have a chat about whatever you want while we watch the traffic out front slow down and swerve to avoid the new speed bumps on 143rd.
We don't have a name for it yet either, and you can help us out with that too.
