Seattle is getting "Cornered"

The first time I stepped through the door of our new studio space and discovered the tight corner near the entrance, I immediately thought about Irving Penn, the well-known 20th-century photographer. He created a series of portraits featuring people backed up into a narrow corner that he built out of stage flats. I knew I wanted to do something like that in this space. When you strip away fancy backdrops, mood lighting, color, and literally back people into a corner what you get is the most authentic expression of self you can capture through a camera. It's beautiful, like everyone who's taken part in the project so far.

Studio Happenings

Join us For a Fun Photo Walk

Join us for a fun and laid-back photo walk on June 21st. We'll start at the studio (located at 143rd and Greenwood), and explore "Downtown Broadview" and Llandover Woods. There are trails and some hills in the woods, so wear decent walking shoes. The total distance will be about 1.5 miles.
